Hey! My name is Sarah Brianne and after living for twenty-two years the characters in my head told me enough was enough and I have finally put pen to paper (or is it finger to keyboard?) to tell their stories. Since I was a little girl I have watched every chick flick I could get my hands on, then when I became older I discovered a whole new world of romance novels. To me there is nothing better then a tale of true love and those are the stories that have inspired me to write. Like everything else in my life I have put my own spin on two lovers destined to be together.

“Why am I still here?” she whispers as my hand disappears into her panties.
“Because you want me. Because you can’t leave.” I slide my fingers between her slit. Her folds are already wet for me, even before I’ve laid a hand on her. I grin against her skin, finally understanding why I want her so much. She needs it rough … and rough is all I am. “You used this against me, Lexi …” I whisper in her ear. “Used your pussy as a tool to get information.” “It wasn’t just that …” “Show it to me then.” The nightgown falls down to the floor, exposing her naked body right in front of the open window. But with no one around, neither of us cares. I’m going for the kill. “Make me believe the lie that’s us,” I say, rubbing her clit. “It’s not a lie …” she murmurs, her breaths coming out in short gasps. “You only say that because my hand is around your throat,” I say, dipping my finger into her pussy. She gasps out loud as I go deep and swirl around inside her. “Because I own this pussy.” “Fuck …” she moans. I groan and then pull away, releasing her from my grip entirely. A confused Alexis turns around and props herself against the windowsill, her eyes pleading with me as I walk backward. My cock is hard, but my desire to know where we stand is much more urgent. Her legs draw together and she clutches her body as another draft enters through the window, her nipples peaking from the cold. I can’t help biting my lip as I watch her become befuddled while I sit down on the chair on the opposite end of the room. “Go on then …” I say, rubbing my bottom lip with my index finger. “Carry on with the little show you had going in my workroom.” She stares at me for a few seconds before leaning back. Her eyes glance over her shoulder to the opened window. I wonder if she’s thinking what I’m thinking. If she’s hesitating … trying to decide whether to run or stay … if she wants me more than her freedom. But then her eyes settle on me as I zip down my pants and pull out my cock. There’s a gleam of desire in her eyes … one that makes me grab a hold of the base and say, “You want this? You can have it … after you show me you really want it.”

Excerpt
The clicking of heels coming toward us caught my attention. I jerked my head in the direction of the sound. All the breath in my lungs left my body.
Montana. Looking sexy as fuck. A red dress that left very little to the imagination. Killer heels. All for me. Damn. Mesmerized by the way her hips swayed as she walked, my cock throbbed with appreciation. How the hell does she do that to me? She stopped in her tracks, her mouth gaping when she spotted Red clinging to my arm. Without a word, she pivoted on her heels and stormed back toward the open elevator. Even though we’d discussed it before that if we ever were in a situation that was risky or just plain off, we’d get the hell out as fast as we could, I didn’t like it one bit now that it was happening. Damn the horny redhead. “No, wait!” I called after Montana, afraid to use her name out loud. “Don’t go. I can explain.” Jesus. That sounded like the oldest cliché in the book. If I weren’t so afraid she’d get away without giving me a chance to exonerate myself, I’d laugh. “That’s your girlfriend? Montana Marx? I thought you were gay.” I didn’t hang around to answer. The elevator doors closed and Montana was gone.
I bolted down the stairwell, taking two steps at a time. I had to stop her. If I didn’t get to her straight away, my chances would be blown. Montana didn’t give second chances. She’d made that very clear from the beginning. No way did I want this screwed up by a stupid misunderstanding.

Synopsis:
My name is Scarlett, but most call me Lett. Well, everyone except the man I've been in love with for as long as I can remember.
It wasn't difficult growing up the daughter of a rock star. I loved the attention and the music so the decision to follow my dadâs career path was an easy one.
Trouble always seemed to be my shadow and keeping out of mischief sometimes seemed impossible. The social life always kept me busy. However, recently I just long for a bit of privacy, a little anonymity just for a little while.
Singing and music are my lively-hood and my passion; I need to find my balance. Little did I know, my life was about to be turned upside down and finding someone to trust in my line of work was difficult; I learned that the hard way. But there has always been one man who has been by my side throughout it all, my best friend. Itâs a shame he doesnât feel the same, will he ever love me back?
Will fate be on my side?
Was my destiny about to be rocked?
Author Bio:
Kacey is a pen name for two friends, Kelly and Claire. We started this journey together writing Rocking Esme in January 2014. We are avid readers and love all kinds of books. We were inspired to write a rock star book as thatâs one of my (Kelly) favourite sorts of books to read. We joked about writing a book and then once we started it kind of just took off and we really love it. We both contributed to all of the Rocking books. Now Claire has taken a back seat due to work commitments and I wrote âTaking A Chanceâ by myself and Claire was very much involved with the editing, reading and formatting. Now, I have written âGiving A Chanceâ and had help from many of my friends with editing and beta reading.
It still makes me so happy to see reviews and sales going up. I love writing and hope to do it as more of a full time job in the future.

Enter the giveaway for a chance to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card too - good luck! #ConnedIntoBeingBad ♥ Buy the Book ♥ Amazon US | Amazon UK | Amazon CA | Amazon AU Love isn't always bright and shiny. Sometimes, it's dirty and wrong, buried six feet deep in a secret place where only wild things dare to go. Hidden behind a big black curtain that covers things no one should ever see. Sometimes it happens between two people who should never be allowed to come together. One who is a match, and the other who just happens to be gasoline. One strike is all it takes to burn the whole world down, and that's exactly what they plan on doing. Even if it kills them. warning: this book contains graphic sex, extremely brutal violence, bad language, and people repeatedly and knowingly breaking the law. Con finally unlocked the doors and she hefted herself into the massive vehicle. They sat in silence for a while, their breath fogging up the glass. Then he opened his mouth. “Did he touch you?” Dulcie knew he wasn't asking about the homeless man. “Not in any way that counts,” she replied, turning to look at him. His hands had moved to grip the steering wheel. “So he has touched you.” “Jared was just an experiment, I wanted to see if -” “You let him fucking touch you.” “You fucking left me!” she was suddenly screaming. He didn't even flinch, just gripped the steering wheel harder. “You fucking left me in this fucking town, without a goddamn goodbye! Without a goddamn word! God, you have no idea what it's been like. That fucking camera, all those drawings. And there's all these people, and talking, and feeling this way, and all the blackness, and I don't even know what's wrong with me, and nothing. You come back, and it's like nothing to you. Oh hey, Dulcie. Where's your sketchbook, Dulcie. Come to a party, Dulcie. Let me just fuck this chick in the woods, Dulcie. So you know what? Yeah, he fucking touched me. I let him fucking touch me. And I hated every minute of it, and I would pretend it was you, and I would hate you, and I would hate myself, and I just let it happen.” Con lunged across the seat, and absurdly, her first thought was “wow, he's really fast” before his fingers wrapped around her throat. She wasn't fazed, though, and she pushed right back, slapping him across the face. This only caused him to clench both hands around her neck and he yanked her forward, dragging her to him so their faces were only inches apart. “Stupid little Dulcie,” he whispered, his breath hot against her lips. She held onto his wrists and glared at him, but didn't try to pull away. His fingers got tighter. “So scared of the big bad wolf.” “I'm not … scared of you,” she managed to gasp out, but then his grip grew so tight he completely cut off her oxygen. “Of course you aren't scared of me. I'm not the wolf. You are.” So that's what was hiding behind the curtain. I wish you'd told me sooner, Con. We could've reveled in our darkness together. It felt like a weight was lifted off her back. She'd been pretending for so long, and she hadn't even realized it. Had conditioned herself to do it. It was easier to believe Con was the darkness, and she was simply drawn to it. Basking in his wake. But it was all a lie – she was every bit as dark as him. They were the same animal. She'd just been better at deceiving herself. And now they'd evolved into something else, into a new, higher being. Her lungs were throbbing, screaming for oxygen. She could feel her pulse pounding behind her face. Her mouth was open, but she couldn't make a sound. Black spots danced in front of her eyes, yet still they stared at each other. Recognizing each other, maybe for the first time ever. Maybe for the last time. What a way to die, looking into the face of this beautiful boy. What a gift.Crazy woman living in an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ..., forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT. I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me. Yeah. I think that about sums me up. REVIEW
3.5 stars What the @#$%?! This book was soooo dark that I needed couple of times to stop reading it. Dulcie and Con are one f*&%^ up couple. It was too much for me…their relationship was sick. I have never read anything like that so it’s difficult to rate it but….for first 50% I would give 4 stars and for second 50% 3 stars. So 3.5 stars. If you like dark and twisted read this book is for you. P.S I heard that some people were saying that The Bad Ones were the best author’s book. But I don’t know…in my opinion The Kane Trilogy Series were the best one. |
