We’re just friends.
No, really. She’s just my best friend...
Arizona Turner has been my best friend since fourth grade, even when we “hated” each other. We’ve been there for one another through first kisses, first “times,” and we’ve been each other’s constant when good relationships turned bad. (We even went to colleges that were minutes away from each other…)
Throughout the years, and despite what anyone says, we’ve never crossed the line.
Never thought about it.
Never wanted to.
Until one night changed everything.
At least, it should’ve ...
We’re just friends.
I’m only saying this until I figure out if she’s still “just” my best friend…
When I heard about new Whitney’s book I was happy but when I have read blurb I was super excited! But when I have finished this book I wanted to kiss Whitney and then slap her. Hard. I hate crying while reading and believe me I cried much, very f***ing much in this book!
First of all this book is standalone (*happy dance* right?) and second this book is in dual POV, Ari’s and Carter’s.
First 50% was soooo good! I laughed so hard that my tummy was hurting. It was THAT good believe me! In another 50% I cried. I wanted to throw my kindle from my window!
Ari and Carter are BFF from fourth (or like Carter says from fifth grade) grade. They knew everything about each other until one day they started to look at each other differently. They wanted to touch, kiss and devour each other. And they did it. And it was hard, hot and…..it was just perfect. Until one day Ari got full scholarship. Sounds good but there is one problem, her culinary school is in France. And this is that part where you will need some tissues. But don’t worry this book has HEA.
I really, really loved this book and I love Whitney. She is great author! Sincerely Carter is piece of work. And when I said it that means that this story has everything! Plot line, smart conversations, good sense of humor, hot and steamy scenes and of course tears :)
