L.A. Casey was born, raised and currently resides in Dublin, Ireland. She is a twenty two year old stay at home mother to an almost 2 year old German Shepherd named Storm and of course, her 4 and half year old (the half is apparently vital) beautiful little hellion/angel depending on the hour of the day.
Her first novel, Dominic, was released on March 17th, 2014, and on March 21st, 2014, it became an international Amazon bestseller.

1. How and when did you get started as a writer?
I wrote Dominic when I was 19 on a whim, just to get the story out of my head really. I found that writing it was the most enjoyable thing I've ever done. I fell in love with it :) Q
2. How do you usually find your ideas?
It can be the most random things. I usually get scene ideas from things I see on a daily basis, but most of the time I just stare into space until I figure out what happens next, lol.
3. Where do you write from? (home, office etc.)
At home, in my bedroom/office.
4. How long does it take you to write a book?
It varies. Dominic took nine weeks, Alec took twelve weeks and Bronagh took thirteen days.
5. What is your work schedule like when you're writing?
I try to get at least 4k words wrote each day so it depends on how good things are going. It can stretch from three hours to six.
6. Do you have any suggestions to help become a better writer? If so, what are they?
Write, write, and write some more. Stay true to you, and don't change your writing for anyone.
7. Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?
I'm was a teen mom, I had my daughter when I was seventeen.
8. What is your greatest weakness?
Overall? Trusting people too easily.
9. What is your greatest strength?
My ability to see through bullshit, lol.
10. As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?
An archaeologist. I was a history freak in primary school :)
